The Girl with Top Hat

Este dibujo lo he realizado sin demasiada planificación. Se trata de un retrato con muchas licencias (pues está hecho de memoria) de una chica que dibujaba en el metro. La historia completa no será contada aquí ni ahora

Al principio quería darle un aire a lo Ben Templesmith o Dave McKean al trazo y la iluminación, pero al final he sacado algo más en mi estilo reciente, y he reservado la idea del texturizado "McKeaniano" para el fondo, al que he dado ese aspecto de recortable con el que ya había experimentado anteriormente y del que me siento bastante orgulloso.

I've done this piece with very little planification. It's a portrait of a girl who was drawing in the subway.

At first I wanted to use a Ben Templesmith/ Dave McKean style but eventually obtained something more in my own recent style, and reserved the "McKean" idea for the background texture, in which I applied my "cutout-like" technique.
